Rune-Midgard was not built with modern schedules in mind. VanRO keeps combat, builds and maps classic, but removes some of the old friction that only wastes time instead of creating challenge.
- 🏃 Faster Walk Speed: All characters gain +30% movement speed in towns. Shopping, banking and NPC hopping feels snappy instead of sluggish.
- 🤝 Party Share Range: The EXP share gap is expanded to 25 levels, so veterans can help newer friends without losing share, and guilds can level together more easily.
- ✨ Party EXP Bonus: Each party member adds a +15% EXP bonus. Full parties are rewarded with faster progression, encouraging group play over solo grinding.
Base EXP × ( 1 + ( Party Members − 1 ) × 0.15 )
For example, in an even-share party of 5 players, the total party experience becomes 160% after bonuses are applied. This total is then divided evenly among all members, so each player receives 160% ÷ 5 = 32% EXP per kill (instead of the normal 20% without any party bonus).
These changes don’t make monsters weaker or builds easier; they simply cut out walking and “dead time,” so the hours you invest are spent actually playing the game.
Travel Convenience – Fenrir Corporation
For world travel, VanRO utilizes the Fenrir Corporation, whose employees operate a network of dimensional anchors that warp adventurers directly from towns to dungeon entrances. Fees are calculated based on travel distance, providing fast access to hunting grounds while still respecting world scale and zeny value.
